Honda's appreciation for Surindo at the beginning of 2021.
Quality does not betray results. At least this expression is worthy of being attributed to PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia (Surindo). Surindo's achievements require a process to produce a complete product.
Surindo's quality and service to stakeholders including the global automotive manufacturer, Honda in Indonesia, has once again received recognition. It is not without reason that Honda Prospect Motor, as Honda's brand holder agent (APM) in Indonesia, gave an award to PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia, the Dunlop tire manufacturer in Indonesia.
Dunlop is considered a capable product by Honda as a partner in manufacturing tire suppliers or known as OEM. Dunlop has met Honda manufacturing standards in terms of quality and other required aspects.
Naturally in Honda's line-up in Indonesia, Dunlop products remain the choice as manufacturer (OEM) tires. Just look at the Dunlop Enasave used by the Honda Brio, Mobilio and BR-V and the Dunlop Sport Maxx 050 used by the Honda All New CR-V and New HR-V.
Surindo's performance throughout 2020 was considered good by Honda. Surindo succeeded in receiving an award for Best Quality, Cost and Delivery from Honda for the 5th time in the last 7 years.
This best performance is attributed to Surindo because of the quality, performance of Dunlop products without problems when received, right down to the installation process (assembly), and claims from customers. Second, cost, performance for cost down achievement and negotiation. Lastly, Delivery, on-time delivery performance, zero problem delivery and safety, Surindo has successfully achieved.
The award was received directly by the President Director of PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia, Akio Hohana at the 2020 HPM Supplier Conference which was held virtually on February 25 2021.
"We are very grateful for this award, and this achievement is a strong motivation for us to maintain our best performance," said Akio Hohana in his award presentation speech.
