Jakarta, October 2026 - What does it feel like to explore six islands in Indonesia in a modified sports car? Far from an ordinary trip, Garasi Drift took the challenge to another level through an inter-island expedition with Ziko Harnadi and Dipo Dwiki, driving a Subaru BRZ Kuhl Outroad fitted with DUNLOP Direzza DZ102 tires.
The expedition started in Jakarta and crossed six islands: Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, and Sumba. Combining land and sea travel, the adventure became an opportunity to explore Indonesia’s natural beauty and cultural richness, while taking on the many challenges of long-distance travel.
On this expedition, the Subaru BRZ Kuhl Outroad served as the main vehicle, carrying the concept of a sports car with an adventurous look. Meanwhile, the Toyota GR Corolla driven by Dipo Dwiki served as the service car supporting the journey. Having two cars with different characters added to the uniqueness of Garasi Drift’s adventure across various destinations in Indonesia.

Its tread pattern is also designed to help channel water away, supporting driving performance on wet road surfaces. The expedition’s story continued on the national automotive stage at the Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2026. The Subaru BRZ Kuhl Outroad was displayed with sand and dirt still clinging to it after the trip through Sumba. More than just a modified car on show, the vehicle carried real traces of the inter-island adventure it had completed.
