How to Clean a Car Interior to Make It Germ Free
The media for spreading dangerous germs is unlimited. The inside of the car can also be a nest. For this reason, cleaning the interior of the car must be done diligently.
Nowadays, maintaining health is very important. This can be done by maintaining hygiene in all things. Cars can also become a nest for dangerous viruses and bacteria. Therefore, car cleanliness must be a concern.
The inside of a car cabin, for example. The car interior can be a place for germs to nest. Cleanliness must be maintained by cleaning the car interior regularly.
To do this, you don't have to go to a car salon. Car owners can clean the car interior themselves with the tools and equipment they have. Here's how to do it.
â— Take the floor mats in the car and take them out. Clean by vacuuming until clean. If necessary, wash it to make it really clean.
â— Also vacuum the area inside the car cabin. Start from the top first. This is because the dirt that flies when cleaning collects in the parts
bottom. Once the top is finished, replace the vacuum cleaner for the bottom of the car.
â— After vacuuming, clean the stains in the car interior. Use cleansing foam to remove it. Then rub with a damp cloth or sponge to clean the carpet or upholstery stain. Repeat until the stain disappears.
â— Pay special attention to the Air Conditioner hole. Clean hidden dirt that is in between.
â— After everything is clean, it's time to sterilize germs. Viruses and bacteria will indeed be killed by disinfectants. However, don't use it because the alcohol content in it can damage some car cabin surfaces.
â— It is recommended to use soapy water only. Take baby soap and mix it with warm water. Then put it in a spray bottle.
â— Spray all areas of the car interior. Place special emphasis on frequently touched points such as the steering wheel, AC knob, transmission lever, dashboard, audio buttons and door handles. Car seats can also be sprayed, but if they are made from fabric, limit the liquid sprayed so that they are easy to clean.
â— Wipe with a cloth until clean and even. Choose a cloth with a soft texture such as microfiber so as not to damage the car's interior surface. Repeat several times until completely dry and clean.
â— Let the car cabin area dry completely first. If it is not dry enough, it will make the inside of the car damp. This can trigger the growth of mold and reduce hygiene.
â— Then, if the car seat is made of leather, add conditioner. This will be useful for maintaining skin moisture so that it will last longer.
â— Once everything is dry and clean, insert the floor carpet and replace it. The interior of the car is hygienic and ready to be used again. That's how to clean the car interior so it is free from germs. Do this regularly every once in a while so that the car cabin is always sterile.
