GIIAS 2021 will officially be held this November

Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) is the largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia which first started in 1986. This automotive exhibition, which can be visited by the general public, is expected to be the start of enthusiasm for the Indonesian automotive industry in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic. As a matter of national pride, GIIAS 2021 is a positive manifestation of the development of the automotive industry in Indonesia.

Lasts 11 days with 3 visiting sessions

GIIAS 2021 has the theme Wheels to Move by showcasing various technologies and the latest products from the automotive industry, including electric vehicles. For Drivemates who are interested in visiting, this exhibition will last for 11 days with 3 visiting sessions, namely from 11-21 November 2021 at ICE BSD, Tangsel, Banten. However, on November 11 2021, the exhibition will be held specifically for VIP invitations and the press from 12.00 - 20.00 WIB.

Presents various well-known automotive manufacturers

A variety of the latest innovative products and technologies will enliven the exhibition, which was not held in 2019 due to the pandemic. Several automotive manufacturers that have been confirmed to attend are Audi, BMW, Daihatsu, Isuzu, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Mazda, Lexus, Mini, DFSK, MG, Suzuki, Mitsubishi Motors, Toyota, Nissan, VW, Wuling, Hino, Mitsubishi Fuso, and Scania. For information, the Mitsubishi New Xpander and New Xpander Cross are among the new cars that will also enliven the 2021 GIIAS event.

Apart from cars, there are also several well-known motorbike brands that are also enlivening this event, such as Honda, SM Sport, SYM, CF Moto, W Moto, Benelli & Keeway, and Kosmik Indonesia. Do not forget that dozens of electric-based vehicle variants will also be exhibited and introduced. Visitors can even try some of them directly in the GIIAS 2021 Test Drive Program area.

Prices and how to buy GIIAS 2021 tickets

In order to watch the automotive exhibition at GIIAS 2021, you must first purchase an entry ticket. GIIAS 2021 ticket prices are determined based on the day of visit (weekday or weekend) and VIP class, namely:

â— IDR 50,000 for Monday-Friday

â— IDR 100,000 for Saturday-Sunday

â— Rp. 200,000 specifically for VIP

Drivemates need to know, GIIAS tickets can only be purchased online via the website or auto360.id application. Ticket sales are not carried out on the spot (OTS) or offline to prevent crowds triggering the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Every visitor must have a ticket before arriving at the location. 1. First of all, download the GIIAS Auto360 application on your smartphone.

2. Then, click on ‘Exhibition Tickets’ in the home section and select the ticket type. Then, click buy.

3. To continue purchasing, you must log in first.

4. After that, enter the date of visit, time and number of tickets you want to buy.

5. Fill in your personal data correctly.

6. Click check agree to the terms and select the payment type.

7. Finish by clicking ‘Pay Now’.

After successful payment, you can check your e-ticket on MyTicket on the GIIAS Auto360 application and use it as access to enter the exhibition area. Before entering the exhibition area to see various car variants with the latest technology, you will be asked to show the QR Code listed on the e-ticket in the "My Ticket" feature to be scanned at the entrance area of ​​the GIIAS exhibition.

Requirements before coming to GIIAS 2021

Drivemates may only visit the GIIAS 2021 exhibition if they meet the specified requirements, namely:

â— Have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

â— Download the PeduliLindung application on your smartphone and register with the PeduliLindung application.

Previously, the minimum age of visitors was limited to 12 years. However, this requirement was removed and visitors were allowed without age restrictions, provided that children under 12 years old were required to be supervised and accompanied by an adult. Especially for children under 7 years old, there is no entrance fee. Without exception, all visitors will be required to use the PeduliLindung application to enter the GIIAS 2021 exhibition area.
