Honda Gives Dunlop an Award
The achievements of PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia (Surindo) as a Dunlop tire manufacturer in Indonesia throughout 2019 were rewarded by an award from a car manufacturer from Japan, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM). Both quality and quantity, Dunlop is able to answer the needs of the Indonesian tire market.
Honda views Dunlop as a strategic partner for tire spare parts suppliers. At least Dunlop is able to meet the standardization of Honda manufacturing products.
Similar to Honda's line up for the national market, Dunlop also answers these tire needs. Furthermore, a series of Dunlop line ups were chosen by Honda as OEM tires or factory tires.
Just look at the Dunlop Enasave EC300+ used by the Honda New Brio, New Mobilio and B-RV, the Dunlop SP31 by the Honda New Jazz and the Dunlop Sport Maxx 050 used by the Honda HR-V, All New CR-V 2.0 and All New Honda CR-V 1.5 Turbo. Once again, Dunlop continues to demonstrate quality as a standard Honda OEM tire.
It is not surprising that Dunlop's performance throughout 2019 received attention from Honda. Dunlop is entitled to get the best results in 2019 in the Honda Supplier Award event, as Excellence in Cost from Honda Prospect Motor.
Surindo was able to get the best rating from Honda because of its consistent best performance in supporting the production of the Honda car manufacturer.
This award event was also held by Honda at the Function Hall Karawang Plant, West Java (27/02). And Akio Hohana as President Director of PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia received this award directly.
