DUNLOP Mudik Post Offers Free Tire Checks and Consultations for Safer Holiday Travel
JAKARTA, 14 MARCH 2026 – In anticipation of the 2026 Eid homecoming season, PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia is once again presenting the DUNLOP Mudik Post as part of its commitment to supporting safer and more comfortable journeys for the public.
Based on a survey by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, around 143.9 million people are expected to travel for the 2026 Eid homecoming period, using various modes of land, sea, and air transportation. With such high mobility, vehicle condition, especially tires, becomes a crucial factor in driving safety.

Through the DUNLOP Mudik Post, we want to provide road safety education, particularly on the importance of proper tire conditions,” said Tomohiro Senna, Sales & Marketing Director of PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia.
The DUNLOP Mudik Post will operate 24 hours a day from 14–20 March 2026 at Rest Area KM 57 of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road. DUNLOP technicians will provide a range of services, including tire condition inspections, nitrogen refills, balancing, tire patching, tire purchase promotions, and tire maintenance consultations for all tire brands.
On this occasion, DUNLOP is also launching a special program, giving consumers the chance to win a luxury family holiday to Bali. Consumers who purchase a minimum of two tires are eligible to join the program and will also receive various attractive souvenirs and cashback of up to IDR 3 million from DUNLOP.
In addition to vehicle services, the DUNLOP Mudik Post will also feature PADEL GAMES, where visitors can take part in a challenge to shoot a ball into a tire ring for a chance to win prizes such as minimarket vouchers, e-wallet credits, and DUNLOP merchandise.
For the comfort of travelers taking a rest, the DUNLOP Mudik Post also provides free massage chairs, an entertainment area with PS5 games, and free snacks to take home, thanks to DUNLOP’s collaboration with Orang Tua Group.
Visitors can also explore the DUNLOP tire product lineup and share their feedback through a consumer satisfaction survey, which is part of DUNLOP’s efforts to continue improving its service quality.
Automotive reviewer Fitra Eri, who attended the inauguration of the DUNLOP Mudik Post, emphasized the importance of driver and vehicle readiness before embarking on a homecoming trip.
