One of them is by presenting Dunlop's newest type of tire, namely SP Sport LM705. Moreover, this updated tire from the SP Sport LM704 uses Shinobi Technology which is claimed to increase comfort and quietness.
“Shinobi Technology is Dunlop's new technology in terms of tire design (profile and tread pattern), which can streamline the function of the sidewall and tire tread to reduce tire vibrations, especially on bumpy roads. The rainy weather in Cikarang made testing more challenging. Using two 2019 Toyota Camry units fitted with competitor tires and Dunlop SP Sport LM705 tires, the testing session was directly carried out by test drivers from Dunlop Japan. The contour of the road is fairly smooth with some waterlogged.
To find out the advantages of the SP Sport LM705 tires, there are 4 types of tire tests carried out. The first comfort test, the car passed through several 1 cm thick shocks at a speed of 40 km/hour. Next, in the quietness test, the car passes through a concrete road at the same speed. And to prove stability performance at high speeds, this DUNLOP tire performs stunts at speeds of up to 100 km/hour with lane changes and stability test stunts with double lane changes with sharp turns. Wow, as a result the SP SPORT LM705 tires are much more comfortable, quieter and very stable when cornering at high speeds.
During the Feeling Test session, the Dunlop SP Sport LM705 Tires had not yet announced their latest price. “In March the new prices will come out. If you want an overview, it's not much different, some are even the same as the SP Sport LM704. "So there is value for money for consumers, there is an increase in performance and quality but the price remains the same," said Hendra Himawan.
Dunlop SP Sport LM705 is available in 32 sizes, ranging from 14 inches to 18 inches in diameter. Tires produced by the Dunlop factory in CIkampek are intended for sedan, SUV and MPV models.
